The Fabric Of Reality Is Torn Usunder
Thank you for pointing out to me I have been posting some "commercial" releases. I didn't know. Seriously (Hah!), the releases I have been posting are pretty old. Plus, I really like them. In addition ... well ... I've been downloading and listening to concerts exclusively for so long I've become a liitle bored with the genre. So, I dug out some commercial stuff I hadn't listened to in a long time and I remembered why I used to get off on a lot of bands. My collection of music to say the least is extensive. Extensive in a biblical way. If it doesn't offend your moral compass too badly, I may be posting some more old or obscure stuff that may turn you on to bands that you never listened to or even heard of before. If you are compelled to go buy their releases, I have accomplished some sort of goal. If you are offended ... what can I do? How can you not want to listen to a band called Come (you will see them here soon).
Thanks for posting the live stuff and the obscure "commercial" releases. I do find "new" things and wind up buying them this way.
ReplyDeleteAny chance you have Armageddon stashed away in some vault. Can't remember all the players but, it was a one(or two at the most) off by a conglomerate of superstars of the time. Out of print now. Had the album when it came out in 70's but lost track of it along the way.
Thanks!
I have Armageddon, álbum with Keith Relf of Yardbirds fame, that he organized after he left Renaissance. If it's alright with you Tony, here's the link: http://lagrimapsicodelica.blogspot.com/2006/01/armageddon.html
ReplyDeleteIn my way of thinking, it's all about the music. Not any record deal.
Enjoy!
The link didn't come out right. Here it is again, without the blog page that is my source:

ReplyDeleteso, thanks for your effort in keeping up the cultural treasure of humanity.

as kurt c. said: "fuck corporate rock".
hey do you have "Car" by Come. That is such a great song & hard to find.
ReplyDeleteKurt Didn't say fuck corporate rock. That comes from a t-shirt & bumper sticker from a small record label called SST. Black Flag's label.
