    The band names just sort of blur together when your drinking fine ales and watching the progress of downloads.

    Anyway ...

    I admit it ...

    Seeing the Hothouse Flowers in 1990 at a near empty nightclub in Houston (20 people or so) was by far the best show I've ever seen in my short life.

    Maybe cause I'd been a fan for several years ... maybe because I won the tickets on a radio show phone-in give away ... or maybe because Liam shed tears at the piano and the band otherwise played like their lives were on the line ... I don't know ... but it's something me and the friend I was with that night will never forget.

    This show ... just listen to the saxophone in "If you go" ... so so beautifully captures the vibe of that show I was lucky enough to see so long ago.

    At 192kbs (yes I'd love to have it lossless) it's still HUGELY HUGELY listenable and utterly true; nothing is lost in the translation. So so FINE!
