I received my first notice from a copyright holder to remove a post. King Crimson to be exact. It has me a little scared. I had assumed I was safe posting bootlegs. Now, maybe not. I removed the post. What do I do now? Shut down the blog? Try to take it private again? I may have a way, but it may crap out like the last time. Your thoughts? Insights? Ideas? New Toy

I put in a new message box toy over on the right. Give it a try.

Today I posted two shows I converted to 192 instead of 320

I am also toying with VBR at 192 min. - 256 max. Kind of a compromise between quality and disk space.

I've read that 320 is useless. And even 256 isn't needed.

But when it comes to the music I love the most, psychologically I want 320. Music that I care a little less about -- 256 will suffice. Anything less doesn't seem right.

I'm really starting to wonder if it's all psychological or not and if 192 is great across the board and 320 is a total waste. Ugh.
