With Success Comes A Price

I received my first notice from a copyright holder to remove a post. King Crimson to be exact. It has me a little scared. I had assumed I was safe posting bootlegs. Now, maybe not. I removed the post. What do I do now? Shut down the blog? Try to take it private again? I may have a way, but it may crap out like the last time. Your thoughts? Insights? Ideas? Send me an email at blind-pig@live.com or leave a comment under any post.

Joy Division Boots Sent In By GhostRider

I haven't downloaded much of this yet. A few shows. Listened to a couple of tracks. Some very interesting stuff. For those new to Joy Division, most JD boots are on the rough side.

Thanks Ghostrider!!!!!!

Also known as:Beginning Of The End LPA Journey That Leads To The Sun ______________________________________________________________________________ Joy Division Band On The Wall tape
There is one tape which has had Joy Division fans mystified for decades. The Band On The Wall tape has been circulating since the early 1980s.

The sound quality of this live recording is horrible. It's always attributed to the Band On The Wall and given one of the following dates:* Band On The Wall sometime in October 1978* Band On The Wall 13th March 1979* Band On The Wall sometime in June 1979* Manchester, Lesser Free Trade Hall 3 July 1979 (tape traders wrongly had the venue as Band On The Wall)

We think the correct one is Band On The Wall, 13th March 1979. The venue matches and we have confirmation that they played that night. Ian's "first time in Burnley" comment before New Dawn fades could be taken as a sarcastic joke about a venue they've started to outgrow.

This concert more than made up for the disaster in antwerpen. the basement was situated in the basementof an old church. the atmosphere was outstanding, theaudience made up of crowds of german punks who werevery enthusiastic about the band's music, and the soundwas greatly enhanced by the odd acoustics of the archedand vaulted crypt.

Some songs, like Love Will Tear Us Apart, seem to be missing a bit of the intro.Note: Sleeve tracklisting is incorrect. The one above is. According to the cover the 7th track is Novelty, but it's in fact No Love Lost. Track 9; At A Later Date (New Dawn Fades according to the cover) and track 19; New Dawn Fades (cover says At A Later Date ) seem to have traded places.

DAMN, GhostRider isN´T really a kewl guy or girl. This asshole has stolen other blogs links. I hate such a kind of idiots. Even if the don´t mind to tell where they have "found" these links. It is like in the real world: EVERYBODY SAVES JUST HIS ASS. SAD.

Ghost rider said...

First: I´ve taken this links from an orkut community.

Second: I don´t know who really made that links.

Third: I don't have time for searching the blog who made the links. As I said above, I´ve taken from an Orkut Community.

Fourth: I don't give a fuck about who made the links.

Fifth: If you don´t want to someone to use your links, better not post it in open blogs. Do it in closed blogs.
