With Success Comes A Price

I received my first notice from a copyright holder to remove a post. King Crimson to be exact. It has me a little scared. I had assumed I was safe posting bootlegs. Now, maybe not. I removed the post. What do I do now? Shut down the blog? Try to take it private again? I may have a way, but it may crap out like the last time. Your thoughts? Insights? Ideas? Send me an email at blind-pig@live.com or leave a comment under any post.

Your blog is the best music blog around. Thanks for doing what you do.

I haven't downloaded this, but are you sure about the date? From the song selection, it looks like it would be a little closer to 64 (or 65) than 94.

Just curious...

I was surprised as most with the playlist and the date, so me being me, I looked it up. For the fans that have a thing about historical details, this was recorded on friday, October 7th, 1994 for the BBC Radio1 program Emma Freud Show, brodcasted the following day, October 8th. Being that the Kinks were enjoying a 30 year aniversary, they opted for a set of classic material.
The Kinks here are represented by Ray Davies - gtr, voc; Dave Davies - gtr, voc; Jim Rotherford - bs, bkvoc; Ian Gibbons - kyd, bkvoc & Bob Henrit - dr.
Once again Tony, thanks for this most excelent post.
