With Success Comes A Price

I received my first notice from a copyright holder to remove a post. King Crimson to be exact. It has me a little scared. I had assumed I was safe posting bootlegs. Now, maybe not. I removed the post. What do I do now? Shut down the blog? Try to take it private again? I may have a way, but it may crap out like the last time. Your thoughts? Insights? Ideas? Send me an email at blind-pig@live.com or leave a comment under any post.

The Fabric Of Reality Is Torn Usunder

Thank you for pointing out to me I have been posting some "commercial" releases. I didn't know. Seriously (Hah!), the releases I have been posting are pretty old. Plus, I really like them. In addition ... well ... I've been downloading and listening to concerts exclusively for so long I've become a liitle bored with the genre. So, I dug out some commercial stuff I hadn't listened to in a long time and I remembered why I used to get off on a lot of bands. My collection of music to say the least is extensive. Extensive in a biblical way. If it doesn't offend your moral compass too badly, I may be posting some more old or obscure stuff that may turn you on to bands that you never listened to or even heard of before. If you are compelled to go buy their releases, I have accomplished some sort of goal. If you are offended ... what can I do? How can you not want to listen to a band called Come (you will see them here soon).

Thanks for posting the live stuff and the obscure "commercial" releases. I do find "new" things and wind up buying them this way.

Any chance you have Armageddon stashed away in some vault. Can't remember all the players but, it was a one(or two at the most) off by a conglomerate of superstars of the time. Out of print now. Had the album when it came out in 70's but lost track of it along the way.

Thanks!

I have Armageddon, álbum with Keith Relf of Yardbirds fame, that he organized after he left Renaissance. If it's alright with you Tony, here's the link: http://lagrimapsicodelica.blogspot.com/2006/01/armageddon.html

In my way of thinking, it's all about the music. Not any record deal.
Enjoy!

Kurt Didn't say fuck corporate rock. That comes from a t-shirt & bumper sticker from a small record label called SST. Black Flag's label.
