With Success Comes A Price

I received my first notice from a copyright holder to remove a post. King Crimson to be exact. It has me a little scared. I had assumed I was safe posting bootlegs. Now, maybe not. I removed the post. What do I do now? Shut down the blog? Try to take it private again? I may have a way, but it may crap out like the last time. Your thoughts? Insights? Ideas? Send me an email at blind-pig@live.com or leave a comment under any post.

Jeff Buckley Hamburg - 22 February 1995 @ 320

Wikipedia says: Known for his ethereal singing voice, Buckley was considered by critics to be one of the most promising artists of his generation after the release of his critically acclaimed 1994 debut album Grace. However, at the height of his popularity, Buckley drowned during an evening swim in 1997. His work and style continue to be highly regarded by critics and fellow musicians.

There is so much that can be said about Jeff Buckley's music and voice, there's not enough room to put it here. If you have never heard of him, give this a try. For me, his voice is the best rock has to offer. Not the traditional rock voice. This guy can SING.

I'm a huge Buckley fan. Thanks for this. I'm glad you're still motivated enough to keep up the blog after all the awfulness.

I must say that I'm not a big classic rock fan so a lot of what you post I don't have much interest in. But I check every day to see what's going on and I've got several shows are way at the top of my list of incredible music finds.

Thank you.
Is that better? I'll post more comments and give feedback about the audio quality when I can. I understand it must be weird to be alone in your world and us out her alone in ours. Gotta touch base somehow.

Be well.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for this post of Jeff Buckley. The guy really could sing as you say and he was taken from us way too soon like Eva Cassidy.

Keep up the good work my friend.
